We specialize in getting the details just right and have over 5 years of experience in the planning industry.  The Planning Zone is dedicated to allowing you to enjoy yourself and feel confident that someone is looking out for your best interests.

Services Offered

Personal Events

These events are on a personal level and offer a discounted rate as compared to corporate events.  Clients are charged on an hourly basis as opposed to a commission rate. The hourly rate can vary from $25 to $50 per hour, with a minimum of 2 hours,  based on the scope of the event(weddings services charges are 10% of the proposed budget). We can handle large or small events.  We regularly offer discounts for referrals,  youth events, senior citizens, and churches. 

Corporate Events

 

These events are for public/private businesses and/or organizations and are charged on a commission basis.  The commissioned rate can vary from 15 to 20 percent depending on the scope of the event. We regularly offer discounts for repeat clientele, corporate referrals, non-profit organizations, youth organizations, schools and churches.

Company Profile

The Planning Zone was officially launched in 2001, but the owner, Chreatha Alston-Woods has been handling event planning for over five years. The Planning Zone focuses on quality at affordable rates.  We will research all resources in your area and find you a competitive rate for all of your event needs.

The Planning Zone currently has only one office in Raleigh, North Carolina, but as clientele expands, so will other branch offices.  Areas outside of North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia will be responsible for supplying/reimbursing travel expenses if our prescence is required(Reasonably of course). 

HEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 2001

A Branch Office will be opening in Maryland for Northeast clientele.
